At premium courses, rental sets typically consist of:

• A full set of irons (3 or 4-iron through pitching wedge) — current or one-generation-old models from major brands
• One or two wedges (sand wedge and sometimes gap wedge)
• At least one fairway wood or hybrid
• A driver
• A putter
• A golf bag (the course's own branded bag, usually)
