Teelink Pair — Solo Golfer Matching

Traveling solo?
Play together.

Most Japanese courses require a minimum group of two or more players. Teelink Pair matches solo international golfers by handicap, dates, and preferred courses — so you show up, meet your partner, and play.

How It Works

From inquiry to tee time

01

First player registers

Submit at least 3 candidate dates, your preferred area, 3+ course options, handicap, and WhatsApp or email. Your slot appears on the Open Rounds board.

02

Others browse the board

Visiting golfers browse open slots filtered by area and date. Personal info stays hidden — only dates, area, handicap range, and spots remaining are shown.

03

Join a round

If a slot fits your schedule, click Join and submit your info. Teelink reviews the match for handicap and style compatibility within 24–48 hours.

04

Teelink confirms & connects

Once confirmed, we share everyone's WhatsApp / email simultaneously. Players coordinate directly. Teelink books the course as a group on your behalf.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is there a fee to use Teelink Pair?
A matching fee of ¥3,000–¥5,000 per confirmed pairing is charged when the match is finalised. Browsing the Open Rounds board and submitting registration is free. Green fees and caddie costs are settled directly by each player at the course.
What happens if my travel dates change after I register?
Contact us immediately via WhatsApp or email. As long as no match has been confirmed, we update your slot at no cost. If your dates shift significantly, we may relist your round with new dates. This is exactly why we ask for a minimum of 3 candidate dates — it gives us flexibility to work with.
How are playing partners matched?
Teelink reviews each pairing manually before confirming. We consider handicap range (within ±6 wherever possible), play style preference, language, and course compatibility. We do not use automated matching — a human reviews every pair.
Will my email and WhatsApp be shared publicly?
No. The Open Rounds board shows only dates, area, handicap range, and available spots. Your contact details are shared exclusively with confirmed playing partners, simultaneously, at the moment Teelink approves the match.
Can I request to play with Japanese golfers, not just other internationals?
Yes — note this in the message field when you register. We have Japanese members who specifically enjoy playing with international visitors. Language is noted in the matching process.
What if a slot fills before I can join?
Rounds fill on a first-confirmed basis. If a slot you wanted closes, register as a solo player with your own dates — a new round opens in your name and others can join it.
